ME218B

Team Jawa Ship

ME218B is the second quarter of a three quarter series Graduate Class on Mechatronics at Stanford University.  In 2010-11, students were asked to create a fully autonomous basketball-playing robot.  We were one of two teams to attempt a dunking strategy. Because of the strict design constraints, our robot ended up resembling the Jawa Ship from Star Wars.  We invite you to explore our design.
